illage Realty welcomes Bikers to “Outer Banks Bike Week” (April 16^th-24^th, 2011).  Once again, the month of April brings the rumble of Harley Davidson’s and other motorcycles to compete with the sound of waves breaking on our seashore.  After a long quiet winter, we locals know spring has truly arrived when we hear those motors running down the Beach Roads.  

The festivities officially begin on Saturday, April 16^th as teams of Bikers register ($50 per entry) for the annual “RIDE TO A WISH” event sponsored by the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Make A Wish Foundation®.  For ticket information, please contact Village Realty’s Durinda Blevins, Sales & Marketing Coordinator (252) 480-2224 (x3325).

Mark Ballog, Owner of Lucky 12 Tavern (MP 12, Nags Head) and Harley Davidson aficionado, looks forward to Bike Week as the kick-start to the summer tourist season.

The Lucky 12 Tavern festivities officially kick start Sunday, April 17th with a FREE southern style ‘Pig Pickin’ from 2-4PM at the outdoor deck.  Many live bands will perform all week long (7PM-Closing) starting with the “Pawn Shop Lifters” from after the ‘Pickin’ on Sunday.  Contest and Door Prizes such as “Tandem Sky Diving” gift certificates from Sky Dive OBX will be awarded to lucky biker patrons throughout the week as well.  In addition, The Lucky 12 Tavern will be open for Biker Brunch Monday (April 18^th) thru Saturday (April 24^th) from 9-11:30AM serving a variety of delicious, hearty biker breakfast/lunch dishes.  

Return bikers, and new guests can rest assured that “IGOR” will once again be on premises at the Lucky 12 (Thursday-Saturday) offering his famous, professional pin striping services for those bikers who prefer to ride away with more than a tee shirt to remember their 2011 Outer Banks Bike Week adventure.
